Why choose XLink?

XLink is already from the start delivered with advanced functions for transmission, especially developed for live broadcasting. All links is using the XLink protocol, which creates a complete network between all configured links in your network, no matter in a closed network or using the Internet. Compared to other systems in the market, all links can be used as transmitters or receivers, without thinking about different licenses or hardware.

Video encoding in several codecs

H.264, H.265 and VC5 are implemented as standard, being able to decode in SDI or NDI at your choice. If you wish to change codec, you can do it by next frame!

Quality in 10-bit and 4:2:2 chroma

We're encoding full HD signals to 10 bit 4:2:2 in just a few milliseconds.

Audio and video always at sync

Forget it all about drifting audio - we keep it synced all the time, whether you use PCM or compressed audio. Support for 16 audio channels are enabled from start.

Built for Internet connections and closed networks

Already from the start, the XLink was built for using Internet as primary connection. Of course, we still fully supports transmission over closed networks.

Layer 2 tunnels? Yes, we have!

By default, all our XLinks are able to create Layer 2 tunnels between each other, no matter of your connection. Send your camera controls, slomo remote communication or IP-based intercom without any fuzz. Need for separate VLANs? We'll handle that as well!

Fully synchronized multi-camera sessions

By using our multi-camera configuration, we guarantee no compromisses in your remote camera workflow.

Ultra-low latency encoding

Our products is transmitting video signals in Ultra-low latency - FEC and resending included!

Say goodbye to the cloud and pre-booked fiber connections!

We don't believe in using cloud services for video transmission, especially when the data needs to be transferred from A to B. That's why the XLink is connecting directly between the links. This means that the only thing affecting the latency is the connection itself. By using the safety features inside the XLink tunnels, the transmission itself can be transmitted over ordinary Internet connections. This means there's no need for pre-booked fiber connections for the transmission systems - the XLink handles it for you.

XLink Management GUI

All of our links have the XLink Configuration GUI installed. By connecting to one link, you'll be able to access all links in your network as long as your other devices is online. You don't have to login into different pages - you'll find all settings in one place, no matter if your devices are located in Sweden, USA or Australia. And of course - the GUI is mobile-friendly!
